Upon entering the ministry, Darrell has served as an associate pastor at two mega-churches in the Dallas, Texas area. He was on staff for five years at Hillcrest Church in Dallas, TX as the Pastor of Small Group Ministry overseeing approximately 300 groups. His portfolio also included Support Groups and four quadrants of Adult Family Ministry. Hillcrest Church is an interdenominational church, founded by Dr. Morris Sheats. Darrell also served Dr. J. Don George as the Pastor of Recovery Ministries at Calvary Church in Irving, TX.In 2006 Darrell accepted the position as Executive/Administration Pastor for a new church plant in Richardson, Texas called Heritage Church. As the associate pastor to Dr. Morris Sheats, Darrell has been instrumental in the startup, strategy, ministry, and staff development of this 250 member church.Pastor Boswell accepted a senior pastorate position in 2008 at the Santa Fe Christian Church in Santa Fe, TX. SFCC is an inter-denominational church in a bedroom community just south of Houston.Rev. Boswell and Dr. Sheats co-authored a book entitled, “Building Better Churches: Building Blocks That Matter” that was published by TEC Publications in 2005.Pastor Boswell was licensed to preach in 1999 and ordained in 2000 by The Fellowship of Ministers and Churches.The Boswell’s have two grown, married children involved in pastoral ministry. They are also proud grandparents.

He graduated with honors from Dallas Baptist University in December 2004 with a B.S. in Christian Ministry and a B.A. in Communications. In 2006 Darrell received his M.Ed. in Leadership Administration from DBU.

Darrell graduated from CFNI with a Theology Degree in 1999 and a degree in Advanced Pastoral Ministry in 2000.

After twenty years in corporate management, in 1996, Darrell and Carol Boswell felt God stirring something deep in their hearts and lives. After seeking God’s direction for their lives, they felt strongly that God was calling them into full-time ministry. With the call on their lives validated they moved to Dallas, Texas to attend Christ for the Nations Institute.
